Is my daughter. She is so brave and

Beautiful. She is my special-needs adult

Child. She was born with a type of Spinal

Muscular Atrophy called Keugalberg-

Welander disease. It affects her arms,

Legs, and neck. She needs help

With everything that we take for granted.

She has been in a wheelchair since

The age of three. She has been such a

Blessing and a loving girl. I still call her

My baby girl even though she is 30 years old.

She has never been a hardship. I love her

With my whole heart. She is my hero!
