Describe your most memorable vacation.

When I was sixteen I went on vacation with my best friend and her family to Panama City Beach. We were there a week. I had the best time!

I can’t remember which day of the week this happened but it was very scary. I had purchased a floating device. I took it out to the shallow part of the ocean. I laid down on it and closed my eyes. When I opened them, I realized I floated out too far. I panicked. I got off the device but my feet didn’t touch the bottom. I was so scared. I may have said Lord help me. I didn’t know how to swim. I know I went around in the water in a circle. There was no one else close by to help me.

Finally, when I turned around again I saw a couple close by. They weren’t there before. I asked them if they would pull me toward the beach so my feet could touch the bottom. They really helped me out. When I turn around to thank them, they were gone.

I have always remembered that day. I’ll never forget…
