The most important invention in your lifetime is…

When I was a little girl my every day chore was to wash dishes after supper. I did not like doing it. Back then we only had a single sink in the kitchen. There were six of us at the time. That’s a lot of dishes to was by hand.

That went on until I was 18. I finally moved out then. When I shared an apartment with my best friend from high school, we had a dishwasher. I was ecstatic. I never stuck my hands in dirty water again.

Thank goodness someone invented the dishwasher!
