Breast Cancer

How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

Being diagnosed with Stage Two breast cancer was tough. When the doctor told me, I was devastated. My stomach hit the floor. I had to tell my family. My daughter started crying. I hugged her and told her I would be alright. I went into combat mode. It wasn’t going to beat me.

My daughter helped me through it. Her strength provided a post to help me stay positive throughout the sick days. She is so precious and I am very thankful for her.

I made it through. My last check up with my cancer doctor was aces. Everything looked great and I feel wonderful.
