What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?

The coolest thing I’ve ever found is a butterfly earring at my grandfather’s house after he passed away. That was 1969. I remember that because my brother was born in 1968. He was a year old when he died.

The butterfly was made of blue crystal. When I moved it back and forth it would change color. I remember I just held it in my hand for the longest time. I cherished it so much. I was seven years old. I went to his funeral along with my parents.

Through the years I eventually lost it. I’m not sure when or where.
