What is good about having a pet?

I love cats! I couldn’t have pets as a child. When my kids were old enough my husband at the time went to a shelter and brought home a kitten. My kids loved it, especially my daughter. She named her Angel. She was totally in love with her. I was too actually. As she grew older, she loved jumping in my lap and taking a nap.

She was such a precious pet. I like cats because their independent. They’re easy to teach where their bathroom is. They groom themselves. They are easier than dogs.

When she reached 19 years old her health went down hill. The vet said there was nothing he could do. The medicine was astronomical . We had to put her to sleep. It was a very sad time for us, especially for my daughter. She cried for days. She loves animals.
