What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?

I’m not sure what my cultural heritage is. I tried looking up my family tree years ago but ran into a problem with figuring out who my long distant relatives were, and that’s on both sides. Back then, there were no computers. Everything was on microfilm. I got as far as both sets of grandparents. I couldn’t get any further than that.

My parents are deceased so I can’t ask them for help. Ancestry cost money every month to track down more relatives like great greats. I do find it fascinating to get to know my relatives in my past. To get a glimpse of their lives, their jobs, their recipes, and how they made it through tough times.

The love they shared with each member of their family shaped mine.
