Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

Years ago I along with my husband at the time, traveled to Jacksonville, Florida to visit his parents and three of his brothers. It was a long drive because we lived near Atlanta, Georgia at the time. That was before our children were born.

The longest trip I’ve been on was from Atlanta to New York State. We drove there. We went through several states to get there. We would start out early and drive halfway there and stop for the night at an hotel, then head out again early morning. We went through North and South Carolina and Maryland.

At the time I enjoyed traveling, being with family, and doing things together.

I have a bucket list for traveling abroad one of these days. I’ve always wanted to go to Egypt to se the pyramids, Peru to see their pyramids and civilization, England to see ancient history, and Scotland to see castles. I am fascinated with ancient cultures.
